Christian Speaker - No-Charge

How do you know if Jesus has a new calling you or if its your own desire? If you are reading this, then I believe this is a venture the Lord may be leading me to.

I retired from the software company I owned and ran for 38 yrs. I was blessed by the company that Jesus had provided. After retirement, a thought came to give back. Offer my services as a guest christian speaker at no-charge (except for expense reimbursements).

Raised as a catholic in Akron, Ohio, during a 2nd grade religion class; I learned about God, heaven, and Jesus's resurrection so we may have eternal life with Him in heaven. I accepted Jesus then, and he's been with me ever since. Even though I have my relationship with Jesus, I would not say I was a perfect role model growing up. I did have an eventful life.

In 1979, after a number of God inspired circumstances, I moved to Colorado. Not long afterwards, started attending a singles group at a Presbyterian church. The pastor was excellent at explaining the old and new testaments with great humility and love. After three years, started attending a newly started sister church, of which I still attend today. My wife and I met at the singles group and we raised our 4 children within the church.

For 24 years, my company had an annual user group conference. I would speak all day for 4 days showing the benefits of our system and answer questions. Speaking in front of large groups of people was no longer a fear.

• Taught Sunday School for 8 years
• Assisted in running our singles group for 2 years
• Lead a bible study group for 3 years
• Planned and organized retreats
• Was a guest teacher at an inner-city men's bible study numerous times
• Do not have any formal seminary classes

My approach to teaching is to get the audience to think. Engage each person into the topic being discussed. I like to be entertaining and include audience participation.
